Hello MAM Families!  You are invited to register your student(s) for 2025-26 MAM Chess!  Chess is open to all MAM students in grades K5-8th grade. Long-time MAM Chess Coach Dave Penkalski leads all classes.

SCHEDULE:

TUITION

Students may participate for the Full Year or the Fall or Spring sessions. The cost for each is as follows:

25-week Full Year - $150 per student (recommended):

12-week Fall Session - $85 per student

13-week Spring Session - $85 per student

***25-week Full Year Advanced / TEAM - $250/student

CLASS OFFERINGS

There are four available classes (see below). If you are not sure which class to choose, please email us or make your best guess. We will recommend changes if necessary. 

All classes are geared towards the learning and enjoyment of chess, and are welcoming to all students and skill levels. Please understand that classes have attendance limits, and we may be unable to accommodate all requests.

Beginner classes are geared towards brand new or less experienced players and older/experienced kids interested in helping teach the younger players.

Intermediate/Advanced class is geared towards students with a solid level of knowledge and maybe some tournament experience.

Advanced TEAM is geared towards experienced players who want to be in a more challenging environment, and/or prepare for tournament play. (Limited to 14 participants)

IMPORTANT NOTES  

** Please do not submit payment until after your child(ren)’s spots have been confirmed via email.

** Please complete a signup form for EACH child you want to register.

** If cost is a barrier to registration, email us for a "no questions asked" full or partial scholarship.

** Once we have assembled the class rosters, you will receive a confirmation email including instructions for payment and other information. Please add mamchessclub@gmail.com to your safe-senders list so the message does not go into your spam folder.
